Aside from experiencing the thrill of playing in one of Europe’s largest youth soccer tournaments, throughout your time with F.C. Global, you will be able to experience and take in some of Italy’s most famous city’s and their breathtakingly beautiful sights.
Milan
FC Global’s first port of call is Milan. As the capital of Lombardy, Milan is a melting pot of style, fashion, and culture. Your time in Milan will allow you the chance to explore and take in much of what this wonderful city has to offer. You will be able to roam the city and experience the culture of the Sforza Castle, the Duomo and visit the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele.
The undoubted highlight for our FC Global players in Milan is the tour of the San Siro, the home of iconic Italian soccer teams A.C. Milan and F.C. Inter. During the tour players will be able to visit the changing rooms, the stands and walk through the Tunnel of Champions in one of the world’s most iconic stadiums.
Verona
The next excursion will take you to the city of Verona, the spiritual home of Romeo and Juliet. During your time in Verona, you will be taken on a guided tour to sample all the sights of ‘piccola Roma’ included the Verona Area a Roman amphitheatre in Piazza Bra and also the Piazza delle Erbe and see the glorious Torre dei Lamberti.
Sirmione & Lake Garda
As you head towards the San Marino Cup you will be able to take advantage of excursions to Sirmione and Lake Garda. During this excursion, you will have the chance to be whisked around Lake Garda on a boat trip and explore the beautiful town of Sirmione, a stunning location on the southern shore of Lake Garda.
San Marino Republic
During your time at the San Marino Cup, there will also be the chance to experience more of what the host city has to offer. San Marino is the oldest republic in the world and as a result is steeped in rich history and heritage.
The San Marino excursions will take you to Castello di Gradara, a medieval fortress well over 142 metres above sea level offering spectacular evening views of San Marino and Rimini. The castle is one of the most visited sights in the region and was immortalized by the works of Italian poet Dante. With spectacular views and incredible guided walks throughout, this excursion into San Marino is not to be missed.
Rome
With the conclusion of the San Marino Cup the tour heads down towards Rome, the Capital of Italy. During your time in the Capitol, there is plenty of opportunity for both our guided tour and self-exploration allowing you the chance to experience everything The Eternal City has to offer.
Through our walking tour, you will get to experience iconic monuments such as; the Flavian Amphitheatre, Scalinata di Trinita dei Monti, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Navona, The Pantheon and also visit Vatican City. You will then be offered plenty of free time to explore Rome and discover its landmarks for yourself.
